But mate, you said James McFadden is one of the top 10 most gifted players you've seen since the 60s.

Wasn't McFaddens goal at Old Trafford to put us ahead, quite early in the game IIRC. Hmmm. Curious.
Sorry, you could be correct, but it earned us our first point there for years and it was a cracking strike from an impossible angle. He won us a few games, even one game heading TWO consecutive powerful shots off the line when others may have bottled it. I can't recall anything similar from beloved Leon, only his barracking poor young Ross who was nervously trying to answer questions in an interview: possibly the most childish thing I've seen from an Everton player

McFadden was light years ahead of Osman as a footballer. He scored 11 goals in 109 appearances despite playing out of position (thanks to pet poodle Osman) and a huge chunk of those from the bench. A lot of committed players get injuries or suspensions in these frantic PL matches but I can't recall Osman being seriously hurt or sent off in all those 11 years. McFadden, like Vaughan, Barkley and others has suffered through commitment so don't go comparing that clown to to a player who scored vital goals such as the equaliser at Old Trafford, winners at Blackburn, Boro et al, just because he scored a goal against p**s poor Greek opposition

Haha now he's [Poor language removed] because he doesn't get injured! Brilliant!

Could he have been trying to get Barks to smile and realise that the media are a bunch of vultures and not to take them too seriously?

McFadden could hit a ball, so could Unsworth. Oddly, Rhino and the Oz both have a single cap for England.

Unsworth was never a Rhino, he was a Grockodile. Yeah I went there, in the Osman thread. I've been waiting years for Osman to put someone through with a reverse pass so I can refer to it as 'reverse Osmosis'. Can you tell I endured the Walter Smith years?
