Dont understand the hate for osman great to have in the squad as he can play in a few positions dont think he should start but will be useful this season coming off the bench

Doesn't he have a good record of games in Europe for an Everton player?, sadly enough. I think he should be giving a few early games in Europe. I'd like to see him getting a few games under Bob believe it or not.

Really versatile, clever player. Makes great runs into space, confident finisher. Shouldn't be a regular starter but I think the plan is to get him involved in mentoring the younger lads. As a sub he can operate in a deep role in a midfield 5, however I like the idea of having him come on as a second striker when needed.

He loses possession too easily to play in the deeper position in my opinion. He needs to be just behind the striker so we have enough bodies between him and our goal in case he gets dispossessed, and his creativity is best served there anyways.
