In the middle, his controller, vision and touch work for him. He's quick an nimble and he can keep the football going.

On the wing he's.....he's just not a winger. Its like sticking Fellaini out there for me. Just doenst work.

Think he was worse than poor today. He was non-existent. Neville may have been the best player on the pitch today for us barring the Baines free kick. Everyone needed a big kick up their behind to say it nicely. Listen to all the sad sack spin on the OS this week. We don't need to hear it we witnessed it.

Lazy and no passion? It's not 'cos he's english, it's because he is one of our least lazy and most passionate players. ffs.

Exactly. You can't fault his commitment and work rate.

But that doesn't help you on the right wing out of posistion.

Cahill wouldn't be half as effective if he was played out of position.

But fact is Osman is too lightweight and loses the ball too often.

He has skill and is capable of having great games and scoring good goals for us. But those games are few and far between.

Good squad player and worth having around but too inconsistent to help us improve and move us on.

On a side note, another poor game from Pienarr. Still waiting for him to stpe up and fill Artetas creative shoes like he said he would.

He's still better than Osman though haha.

As I said in another thread, he's a fashionable McFadden.

I would've preffered to keep McFadden that have Jo.

Pienaar works well when there's someone in the middle to work from, because we know him and Baines work well that extra man to give the ball to helps him. You cut off Baines, Pienaar cant do anything so where and what is he going to do?

We dont suit 4-4-2 especially with the players on the pitch today.

We were losing the ball and had no creativity in the middle of the park. So unless Pienaar and Ossie (whos not a winger) were going to pull some magic out of their arse, they're going to have a poor game.

Moyes got the tactics wrong today not the players. Bit of fight was needed but it was a poor show all round.

Baffled why Gosling is suddenly out of favour. Thought he was alright when he was playing, made more of a contribution than Osman, though thats not difficult.

I couldn't give a rats arse about work rate, and work ethic. I want to see creativity, attacking mind, ability, desire, passion. Work rate, they are over paid sportsman, work rate is the minimum they should be putting in.

Neville
Gosing Osman Pienaar
Fellaini
Saha
Anyone tell me why that doesnt seem better on paper than -
Osman Neville Fellaini Pienaar
Saha Jo
I'm sticking by Ossie. In the middle he's good for us. On the wing he's a passenger. But Moyes wont play a VDM or a Gosling out there.

With the exception of the odd goal he offers nothing. Constantly getting pusshed off the ball as proved today. He's been non existent for the last 6/8 games
Get £3/4m for him in the Summer and I'll be happy - put the money in the Moutinho kitty

The last thing he contributed to was that macclesfield goal, can't really think of anything else since tbh.
