There's so much anti-Osman bollocks on this site. He doesn't pick himself. But when he is picked he invariably does alot of good stuff in moving the ball around. He did again today. He also threaded through the pass of the season for the opening goal. In total he probably only lost the ball or misplaced a pass on half a dozen occasions. I agree he hasn't got more than an hour in him these days. I'd also agree that we need better quality than what he can now offer if we are serious about moving up another level. But really, the venom directed towards him on here is a disgrace.

He played a through ball which lead to Lukaku scoring. Super. He then disappeared for the rest of the match and was directly responsible for one of Palace's goals. So on goals he cancelled himself out and his overall performance was tosh.

I wish Everton would stop with this looking-after-the-local-lads bollocks. They're all multi-millionaires who don't deserve loyalty or a further penny from the club, ffs.

The only reason Osman and Hibbert have been at Everton their entire careers is because they are both absolutely rubbish, always have been, and nobody else has ever wanted to waste their money on them.
