Great ten minutes or so, then became a useless invisible liability. Story of his last five years.

I can't understand how some people see amazing things with him.

He always needs too many touches.

He masks his mediocrity with the odd goal or assist. (Even todays was deflected into Lukakus path)

He should be nowhere near a starting XI.

Apart from his massive dropped bollock for the third today.....he was released down the right side of the box today and didn't even bother looking up before knocking a hopeless ball towards the 6 yard box.

For such an amazing player, it's telling that Derby County are the only team who have ever asked to buy him.

The problem is he's increasingly becoming good at only one thing and that is passing. His shooting is comical, he offers nothing in defence or off the ball, he's not got pace, and he's as lightweight as a chinese gymnast. He is one of our better passers of the ball - think him, Pienaar Eto'o and Stones are the only ones in the team that can play a proper through ball but he's so limited that we can't afford to have him on the pitch anymore I'm afraid.

There's so much anti-Osman bollocks on this site. He doesn't pick himself. But when he is picked he invariably does alot of good stuff in moving the ball around. He did again today. He also threaded through the pass of the season for the opening goal. In total he probably only lost the ball or misplaced a pass on half a dozen occasions. I agree he hasn't got more than an hour in him these days. I'd also agree that we need better quality than what he can now offer if we are serious about moving up another level. But really, the venom directed towards him on here is a disgrace.
