The few times I've watched the players arriving at Goodison (for my little lad to see the players) Mirallas and Oviedo stood out, they signed everything anyone wanted. Barkley and Deulofeu didn't sign anything.
 

My lad has been down to FF to wait for autographs and to play against the academy. Was lucky to bump into Barkley just as he was getting into his car and didn't mind a 5 minute chat. The only player to drive past on both occasions was Tim Howard. I think this is because people were selling fake signed items on the internet or something. As for Baines, again even when he's had his little lad and family with him, he's always stopped and signed and posed for pictures.
I know this picture is at Goodison, but it doesn't look like Barkley doesn't want to pose for a picture with my lad ?

Baines has time for anyone, he really does. Ive bumped into in town twice, once with a few of my mates and once with my little cousin, was more than happy to stop and get pictures done and talk for a bit. I know a few people who have been down to Finch Farm as well, the majority if not all the players stopped for them whilst they were there.

It may sound like a petty reason to hate him but I just can't stand footballers like that mate. You've got Lukaku, Coleman (quite young), Stones, Deulofeu who you can have a decent chat too at FF, Stop everyday for the kids and adults who don't even support Everton. Baines apparently is a blue and I've never seen him stop.

Even Barkley, you can tell he doesn't like too but he still does. How can you say no to a little kid who has your name on the back of your shirt? Ask Baines and he will tell you.

Weird, because i met him at a Miles Kane gig, everyone got photos and i chatted about Everton with him for a while.

So unless you're there everyday i wouldn't judge too harshly, maybe he was late for a guitar lesson...

Everyone has their off days mate. I mean, Leon Osman nearly ran me over once but I don't hate him.....

He very nearly didn't miss. But yes, he missed.

My mum works in the primary school in Kirkby where he used to go to, she can't rave about him enough. He's donated a few things to the school for charity raffles and has put in an appearance there, had photos done, spoke to everyone, was all round really pleasent (they've asked the same of Phil Thompson in the past who turned them down). People will have differing experiences with different people, but all the first hand stories I've heard of Baines have been nothing but glowing.
