They won the league 3 years ago - Why would we be anything other than massive underdogs?

Really don't understand the elevated feeling of self worth amongst some Evertonians - We've been (mostly) horrific for decades

Your right mate, we've been dire for 20 odd years on the pitch, doesn't mean though we should settle for less as fans and its not our fault as a fan base if we still expect success but the players are incapable of delivering.

I can sense the frustration in the stands and the reason for that is there is far too many in the fan base who have been denied the chance to see a successful Everton side. My son is 9 and I was thinking at the match on Tuesday "ffs when is his day gonna come when I've been waiting 20 odd years since the last win"

Only cos the players can't abide by nil satis nisi optimum I always tell my son we should still strive for it otherwise there is no point.

Think this type of game might actually suit us better than the expectancy to dominate at home.

We've played well in spells at Wolves, Bournemouth and Arsenal and created enough to win all three. We'll have our chances today just all going to depend if we can actually get something going that resembles a defence.

This is a must win. Win today and if Wolves and Watford drop points we are only 1-2 points off 6th. Got to win this and Palace and keep us around that spot come Janaury where we hopefully can sign a top striker.

Come on Silva get Richarlison up top and atleast try it out.

Walcott Siggurdsson Bernard

Richarlison

Yep i like that front line. Would worry most defenses.

9?! i'm bloody 29 and haven't seen us win anything!

You may be onto something there.

* Taps nose.

Eventually would love to see Siggurdsson benched and a creative no10 with pace be signed but its definitely the best attacking line up we can do at present.

No doubt Tosun or DCL will get the nod.
Bernard is a no. 10. Remains to be seen what he can do though
