Transfer business is looking to be fantastic. Richarlison is quality. Bernard is quality. Zouma is a wall. Digne is every bit as good as the rest of the LBs in the league. Even if Mina and Gomes don't totally work it has been a stormer.

Still holes in that team. Right back and central midfield. A box to box midfielder a la Cahill would be nice.

Some great stuff there today but I think Leicester were off the pace, plus 10 men and all that. We are still wobbly in front of goal and wasted far too many good chances, plus our corners go nowhere. Nevertheless a welcome win and very promising in places.

That stuff comes in time. It's when you don't create that things are bad. Someone will take a pasting off us before Christmas. I can feel it.

I thought Digne was terrific today. His work rate, his defence, his attacking, and even his shooting was excellent. But Gylfi's goal was a stunner! Great team performance all round, so well done Everton. Hopefully we can keep improving after the international break.

Our two CMs are extremely confusing. They neither are good creating, or shielding the defense. Gana can defend one on one, but Davies lack of awareness on coverages is blatant. Going forward they are average or below average. Hope Andre Gomes is decent. Still think we need a CM signing that can shift the ball quickly from one wing to the other, creating 1 on 1s, with Gomes protecting this player. Gylfi having to come deep isn't ideal.

I was concerned going into that one, Leicester are a rival to us. I felt a bit happier when I saw the team. This is a big result for us, any away win is big. I don't think it makes up for Tuesday's defeat but I do believe we are on the right track. The international break will hopefully give some injured players the opportunity to get fit. It will also allow Silva more time on the training pitch.
