But there are big risks in going for strikers from abroad Soldado/Falcao etc and he is certainly cheaper than say Rom would be.

Vardy is making as much as he can as he only just started earning big money as he 30 this year, a nice new 4 year contract around 100k a week plus a fee for moving.

Leicester could be relegated next season when the other leave as well

Arsenal fans on Red Cafe claim Wenger is going to go back to a counter attacking system so I guess Vardy will be good for that.

Also Falcao did his ACL before he signed for us and was apparently [Poor language removed] for Monaco for 6 months before he came to United. So I wouldn't blame it on him being from abroad as it was really us being stupid and Van Gaal reckless imo

Will be interesting if they are going counterattacking, did it to great success away at City for example, but jist not sure it will last given so much "muscle memory" from both Wenger and his players.

Fair point on the Falcao injury, he had a history of them and he also seemed to try to rush his recovery to see if he could make the World Cup. As for LVG - not quite as reckless as Mourinho taking him at Chelsea after watching him act like Bambi on ice at United
