I've heard two more rumors from the manager market, and that's Allardyce and Simeone.
Allardyce I'm cautious about, but he'd keep us up without a doubt, I feel like he's a good no-[Poor language removed] manager, but with more BPL experience than the likes of Unsworth.
For Simeone... if we could I'd be amazed, but we'd have to pay BIG money to get him. And even then, I like his style of play. It's a great combination of fierceness and precision, and Atletico winning the league and doing fairly well in the UCL has proven it's effectiveness. He's losing out to Madrid and Barca who can afford the best in the world, and although his team has some superstars, he gets the very best out of his players.
Until January, that's what we need... and frankly if we were to open up a 250-300 million war chest for Simeone, I think he'd consider a BPL run.
the downside is we're so early in the season, and still very bad. there's no market to replace personnel for our squad, and there's a long insufferable wait until we CAN change the team, much less start the season over again. Plus, we're now out of one cup, and practically dead in Europe.
so yeah, this is the 100% first time for a manager to join... but hey, you by big while the market is at its lowest... maybe a big manager will see that. maybe we're all desperate and are WAY over speculating just like over the summer (that one sounds a bit more right)
