Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
loved it as a kid, now the kids love it and the 6 y.o. got some kits that are to difficult for him so i have to make them, and i still love it, very theraputic i reckon. i have to build a megablocks expert one, a formula1 car. built a monster truck, a pirate ship and a big castle for him, theyre all in bits again now like, due to his younger brother.

lego, a design classic. i'm gonna make me a lego block mould the size of about 4 breeze blocks, make some bricks and build me a house. grand designs here i come.

We have a house full of it both our Harry and Barb play with it for hours trouble is when they create some thing it has to stay as that so its costing a bomb on e-bay well it was till she took ill.

the asda stuff and the megablocks is the same sizes , so can be mixed, and way cheaper. the pirate ship & castle from asda were about a tenner, and theres loads of bits.
about 1/2 the formula 1 was done and the youngest has found it and dropped it.

I still have my kids Lego in the garage & the Action man figures and all bits and i think there,s farm animals aswell(y)

Great stuff lego.
Designed to find feet with no shoes on.
By eck it hurts like hell

Build me this, build me that, all stuff that you never quite have enough bits.

I built this and they said "No the full thing with a track as well"

Message from Bill. Can you rebuild Goodison Park please. Thanks.

I was more of a k'nex kid when I was younger. I've still got a massive box of it in the cupboard. It was boss, I used to love building the roller coasters. I don't think my parents were as happy with them though...

It is well expensive - I've looked at some of those collector's x-wings but they're the best part of a hundred quid. It does last forever though. I've still got all the lego I had as a kid and it's been used (and still is) by all four of mine.

I recently bought a book called 'Lego Ideas'. It was only a fiver for a hard back so I couldn't resist. I could say it was for the kids but that wouldn't be entirely truthful. It has mini interviews with the lego designers, which on reflection is a career path I should have persued with greater vigour. Mind you, some of them are 'late middle aged' so there's hope yet.
