He got signed when he got signed nobody hung around waiting till 5 o clock before we signed him, the deal only got signed at the time it got signed because of the negotiations between the clubs, nobodys fault, it's just the way those particular negotiations went. I'd be interested to know if Lampard said anything about Maupay being available for Leeds in the post-Brentford / pre-Leeds press conference. I don't know that he did...

If the club knew about this, they should've prepped us for it in all the Maupay material they released after he signed.
