Everton apart from manu and the rs have probably the best away support in numbers in the PL.

realistically if tickets were available would Everton take 10000 a game ? We fill Blackburn away end every season even when we are crap about 7000. Fulham normally night games in London we have 5000 to 6000 whatever the end holds. Not many clubs can do that at our level. When we played your neighbours in League Cup lots of Leeds were in the upper tier of new stand and the LIverpool fans say they have never witnessed away support vocally like it. I think younger Everton fans if they get a ticket for Elland Road will enjoy the atmosphere
We need 4 0r 5 players. If we can sign White centre half, another forward plus a winger and mid fielder we should be ok. San Francisco 49ers might be upping their investmentI don't even think Biesla is that special also.
Dont get me wrong he's a good manager who drills his players well - but they seem to go on bad runs over the last 2 seasons under him which in the Prem can be a killer.
I imagine if Villa/Bournemouth/Norwich go down the remaining teams bar Watford all have good goalscorers (even Brighton have Maupay) and probably better players **on paper** so I think they'll do well to reach mid table safety next season when their best player is probably Bamford.
I think Sheffield Utd have been more an anomaly than the standard of teams shooting up because they work hard.
I think the reason teams like Sheff Utd / Leicester done so well this season was because outside of Liverpool all the top teams have been bang average and the points have been shared alot more equally around the other 19 teams creating a closer league.
I think the top 6 will be much stronger next season and we will go back to there being a much spaced apart league.
Bamford is way down the list. He is even worse than DCL at missing easy chances. In fact, he is going to struggle even more in the Premiership, will be a squad player next season. Most Leeds supporters say a striker is the no.1 transfer priority for next season.I don't even think Biesla is that special also.

I think you’ve got to put context in that, I don’t Think Goodson would be packed to the rafters after 16 years of turmoil. Ken Bates GFH & Cellino running the club in the ground selling player after player appointing non league PE teachers as managers sacking them after a couple of weeks, basically shutting the whole academy while charging £40 a ticket. There’s loads more than that as well.
I see the argument well they’ve spent more time out of the top division than in it & I see the point but I think what makes us a big club is the fact that if something happens to us it’s news. We get relegated the country enjoys it. We get promoted the majority of the country hates. If we weren’t a big name we’d be like the dull vanilla clubs that no one cares about.
in my opinion I’ve always seen Leeds on the same level in size as leeds along with a few others
when i was growing up in the 90’s Everton were perennial relegation contenders & leeds were challenging for europe but you still knew Everton were a big club with a good support.
so you’d have top 3 sized clubs
man united, Liverpool, Arsenal then
Everton, Leeds, villa, Newcastle, spurs, Man City, Chelsea
Do you have selective amnesia about the last 20 years and Leeds spending policies?I know their are rumours of qatari interest but obviously unless that comes to pass I would imagine Leeds will be keen to ensure they dont spend daft money and risk financial trouble should they go back down.
As someone who grew up supporting Everton and after a family move to Leeds (1951), supported Leeds too. I feel I have a good handle on the situation. In 1951 Leeds were in the second division and were looked upon as a second division club. both in results and support. I remember when Don Revie took over as manager, he had an article in the Yorkshire Post complaining that the 'break-even' on costs for Leeds was a crowd of 20,000. Leeds,at that time, were getting 13 - 15,000. The 'big club' years started with Revie and the fan base has remained loyal in spite of too many fallow years since. Leeds is a 'big club' now but not historically, like Everton.Leeds are a big club, no denying that but the fans and sections of the media are deluded putting Leeds in with some of those clubs, notably ourselves.
Anyone can pick and choose brief periods in history where their team has done well but in overall terms and recently, Leeds are no where near a few of the the clubs mentioned in that list.
Leeds had a great period 50 years ago and did well around 20-30 years ago. What Leeds fans need to be able to explain if they regard themselves so highly is why they are so far behind a club like Everton in most of the obvious "big club" measures yet still claim to be similar sized or even bigger. Titles, overall trophies, seasons in the top flight, home crowds, highest average attendance, highest record attendance, seasons in the PL, wealth. For a City their size and being the only club, the home crowds are poor. The away support is admittedly excellent, one of the best in the country for turnouts along with ourselves.
Leeds have the edge in Europe, but then we were banned at our height. If Leeds were banned late 60's/70's like we were 85-90 they wouldn't have the record they had.
That said, both of us are also rans at best at the moment. Neither of us currently come close to the modern day Man City or Chelsea unfortunately.
I remember before Kendalls team started to click alot of Evertonians wanted him sacked.Remember watching the Oxford cup game and it was a bit like Ferguson with manure at Forest last chance saloon. I think a Gary McAllister last minute goal and Everton led to our financial circumstances, by letting Liverpool qualify for the champions league. Ridsdale had banked on us qualifying.I think you Everton fans should be more sympathetic. Football is all about fine margins after the Champions League semi final it started to unravel. We played two good Spanish teams Deportivo and Valencia , who have really never sustained the financials to achieve CL football. Its all weighted to the usual power houses with vast backing.
