Tbh, I think so too. Living up near Leeds now I see that their fanbase has changed since the old Super Leeds Utd Bootboys days. The one I see who go the game don't mind Merseysiders at all, they look at Mancs and think my enemy's enemy is my friend I suppose.Definitely coming up this year I think

I lived in Leeds for around 6 years and I've never heard any Leeds fan say this. What was the reason behind it?I lived in Leeds for almost 20 years. The only team Leeds fans hate is Man U. (Everyone hates Millwall, that goes without saying!) Many Leeds fans have Everton as their second team. The Leeds United website (LUFCTALK) is one of the best managed football websites on the internet. Good debate is encouraged but swearing and insults are not tolerated. Results in a very friendly site where people respect the views of others, even if they don't agree with them.
I played for Leeds United Juniors in the early 1950's when Raich Carter was manager of the club.

Cockneys I've heard say nice things about us, but never when I was in Leeds. Only time I heard anyone in Leeds say they liked us was a Tottenham fan.Don't know what the reason is. I would guess because its the 'peoples club'. I live down south now and I guarantee that if I talk to anyone down here about football and mention :Everton, they will say 'I quite like Everton as a club'. Never hear anyone trashing Everton, unlike some clubs.

Think a lot of fans like Everton.Villa fans generally like Everton too. Personally I’ve got a big soft spot for Everton . As for Leeds, it has been a long time, and they certainly are a big club in my eyes. Their fanbase is still horrible mind.

Thanks for the other night. I knew we could count on you.Think a lot of fans like Everton.
Especially when their team is looking for a result .
Why?That's a bad thing, in my opinion.
