Stop Kalvin Phillips and you stop Leeds. So I don’t mind resting James, looked shattered in the second half last couple of games, and some massive games coming up we need him for. Didn’t wanna see Sig starting but last time we gave Kalvin Phillips the whole of Goodison to do what he wanted, so sticking Gylfi close to him does make some sense.

Davies deserves to start ahead of Gylfi and Gomes though

Very poor selection. Why on earth does he persist with Sigurdsson?? He's a joke and the Newcastle game was one of the single worst midfield performances I have seen. Yet Carlo makes him captain?!

Sigs and Gomes in midfield ffs, That Tom guy who passed away covered more yards walking around his lawn in a frame that they will do during a match.

Until Everton sell Sigs, Gomes and Delph they wont get anywhere - the midfield is just rubbish.

I’ll be honest James looked knackered against Newcastle so not surprised. But we will lack any creativity.

He's not going to be able to play this and Saturday and the cup game from the start so I don't mind leaving him out but we figure to have basically zero midfield play without him and Allan.
