My old man was from Leeds and used to take me to most of the home games in the early 70s when they were in their pomp.
Thankfully my Grandad took me to as many Everton games and there was never any doubt it was the blues for me.

Leeds supporters aswell as the team themselves were arrogance personified, despite having the ability to play teams off the park they invariably chose to boot teams off the park hence the dirty Leeds tag.
The Damned United film doesn't show Leeds in a good light but that was exactly as I remember them, I would have no sadness in seeing them relegated though I think they'll have enough to stay up

So you could have easily ended up supporting Leeds then? I could easily have been a Sheffield Wednesday fan but Everton at the end of the day just appealed to me more for some reason.

Imagine if you opted to support Leeds and me Sheffield Wednesday instead of Everton. Our paths would never have crossed then, and wouldn't that be such a terrible shame?
