Was worrying just how lethargic and lacking in sharpness we were. Its day one lads. We don't look like preseason has sharpened us up like other clubs in fact it's taken a toll with the injuries. Why? Couldn't be because we had to flog 14 players due to lack of recruitment?

I know signing players isn’t completely straightforward but I think if you’d have said in May that we hadn’t brought in any pace, or any right sided players by the time the season started, they wouldn’t have believed it.

I think signing players is a lot easier than we make it look to be honest.

I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that we haven’t prioritised signings in the areas of most chronic need. It’s almost like Kenny Tete was the only right back we have identified as it’s been nothing but crickets on that front ever since he rejected us.

I seriously doubt that we have a coherent strategy in place at all.

If that's a pen then rather than trying to open up a team and play football when in or approaching the penalty area you might as well target hitting an arm even when down by the side and behind a player's back when crossing or shooting. It's the % play these days which just shows where the game has gone. Really sad state of affairs.

Stop with the penalty story. Whether it was or it wasn’t, we were abysmal. The reason is obvious. The owners need to fix it, rather than blame referees.
