An atrocious performance by and large, the manager seemingly forced into putting out a makeshift defence and for some bizarre reason left out our new superstar attacking midfielder.

A refusal to change things at half time when he'd seen likely the most pathetic 45 minutes of football in decades by a team of his, then decides to bring in a second striker with barely a few minutes left of the 90 — with no change in style of play.

The lack of pace is frightening, players cannot and, more importantly, will not cross the ball. What's the point of having Beto or Barry in a 451 when your players have yards of space in attacking positions and pass backwards instead? Dewsbury-Hall, Garner, Gueye all guilty of this. O'Brien to his credit gave his best, but what can we expect from a CB at full back?

A side that cannot fashion a single decent opening against a poor promoted outfit in 97 minutes of football, and all we're missing is two defenders from having our best possible starting XI available.

I would argue they didn’t even look decent. We were just that bad.

We always seemed slow starters under Moyes v1, yesterday the same.

I don't recall a save from Leeds' keeper. Maybe we'll improve, lack of pace, patience and build up around their box all Moyes trademarks alongside bad subs.

Wasted opportunity, I find the summers of inactivity so arrogant and almost boring because it's obvious we'll then struggle in the early days of the season and give ourselves this kinda weight to carry, rather than build confidence and energy.

It was a penalty, just. And it was a deflection, too. Sure. That was one moment that stemmed from a mistake in a key area.

What that hides is 90+ minutes poor play, poor tactics, and the limited summer activity to fix our weak right side. Yawn.

Just a matter of time until Moyes is found out ,one question why do the coaches allow / tell Pickford to kick long balls when it either goes out with a grin or is sent straight back ?
They played like Moyes had picked 11 fellas out of the crowd . You can tell we are struggling to find players and this will surely help them stay away.
It took one game to drag KDH down to our level . The coaches should hang their heads in shame and the players ,well what can you say ?

The recruitment team need to take their portion of the blame, all Everton fans know we need players, and have done since May.
Last night was partly a refection of that.
Ps we need a striker as badly as we need a right wing !.

He did make one piss easy save to be fair, when Alcaraz for some reason decided to shoot near post when the keeper was stood right there and he had a perfect opportunity to put it across him instead or back inside the six-yard box.
