It literally ruined Mirallas's career here. Almost every time he went on a tear, he would experience a tear.

……forgive me because I’m a little bit modest about these things, but I once stuck one in the top right hand corner from 20 yards at Elland Rd. It was unlike me, because I generally scored inside the box, never ever missed a one-on-one as a kid but this night at Leeds I scored from distance.

Anyway, the flood lights failed and we had to go off. I remember one of the Board fellas said ‘such a shame that goal will be chalked off’ but 10 mins later we were back out and I stuck another 20 yarder in the top right hand corner.

2-0 Leeds, if Pickford plays a blinder. Like most of us I’m happy with Grealish and KDH, and that they seem to be excited and “ready to go” (that’s a laugh, when is an Everton player ever ready on the first day?).

I would feel a lot more confident if our shiny new LB, RB, RW and Striker were ready to go as well!
