I don't know him personally but someone I used to work with was close and said his family comes first for him.

I admire that.

Sure he was offended a job at us and turned it down to be stay close to home. He used to drive from the midlands when he was playing for us

Listened to an interview with him from a few years back and he said he'd be open to a job with us if the personal timing was right and he felt he'd earned the right to it. Which I took as a but of a dig at a few who got gigs a tad too easily.

While he was with us, I believe that 2/3rds of his salary went directly to a DS charity.

Eggs, your posts are normally the voice of reason and you are a very sensible poster.

But I believe him/his kid are only based in the Midlands, its not exactly like he would be commuting from the middle of the Pacific.

100% would have him over any of the frauds we would likely be linked with.

And he is already bald so won’t have the usually greying/balding that our managers go through.

Highly thought of in the game. And by all accounts a properly good guy.

They have elected to keep the present numpty for the remainder of this campaign so until next Summer. Carsley is linked as a replacement but the FAI here have done zip plan B planning hence they kicked it out 6 months.
