Ghost any idea how many visitors last month didnt have javacript?

One set of stats from last month actually shown 0% had javascript disabled.

Another shows that 97.7% of visitors last month had javascript enabled.

Also - bear in mind the post editor and 'user cp' drop down?

Its not worth my time to completely transform the site (or make an alternative viewing) for people who dont have javascript. If I was charging people to view the site, or it was commericial, then i'd agree that I should compensate for as many visitors as possible but at the end of the day, if people want to see the site, they need javascript. Just like if people want to go a certain nightclubs, they need to wear shoes.

Up to you mate, but 2.3% of your users can't login in using Firefox. I know its ridiculous, but think of what I have to do to make sure fools who still use IE6 can view my sites. That browser is ancient and IE7 is out and has been for a while, and as a free upgrade. But still, I have to accommodate all people.

I for one have had to disable JavaScript because the snow effect has slowed down my system.

It isnt even 2.3% Ghost because some of them will be using GhostSurf etc.

It would take days/weeks of work to compensate for about 10 visitors a month - if that.

days/weeks? Are you sure.

Well its up to you, I suppose I will just have to wait till January when this snow subsides.

Guys seriously are you taking the piss?

Micknick, what do you do for a living?

Because I work in Web Development and I have to deal with this kind of situation on a weekly basis.

Its not a case of just chucking it up there and not caring about visitors. I have to accommodate all users regardless of numbers.
