Player Valuation: £70m
I never thought that this site would plumb the depths of the ToffeeWeb mailbag, however I am sick of hearing how everything is Bill's fault. People are making that kind of judgement without any fact at all.

Here is an example, Moyes hasn't signed any players thus far, is that Kenwright's fault? Well it is if you think he hasn't been given any money. But how about if Moyes has been given money but is dithering, then is it still Bill's fault?

It looks like we are going to lose out on Moutinho, even though the funds are there, and have been all summer.

I agree, Ive got no problem with kenwright. He's admitted he hasnt got the money to take the club were he wants it to go so he looking for new investment. Fair doo's i say. People need to remember a few years ago with johnson at the helm. We used to sell all our best players as soon as bid was launched. Not so these days.

Couldnt agree more- the guy has done everything for the Blues and has had the honesty to admit that he can't give enough to move the club to the next level.
Hope you're wrong about Moutinho though.

All I am saying is, its not always the Chairmans fault.
Whose fault is it that the debt has increased considerably and clubs that have historically been smaller than Everton have more money to spend on the transfer market (I'm not talking just about this summer but about the entire Moyes era)?

How you can compare this forum with that mailbag with regards to Kenwright is absolutely beyond me.

I see ghost is back with an attention seeking thread. 1 of the more positive everton sites this especially in these difficult times

No?

Ok maybe I'm wrong then. But I'm sure young Sharpy has sharpened his knives this very morning.

Im just really FED UP. Iv always backed Bill, but this summer an some of the things iv heard (not just on the internet) Im coming to the end of my tether.

If the money was always their as you say. Im sure moyes would have bought someone. Might not have been moutinho, but would have added to the squad.

I don't think the money has been their. Ani still think were struggling to get any decent funds.

I want to believe the money is there but it looks to me increasingly as if the situation with DM refusing to sign the contract is finally forcing Bill's hand to push hard for investment as that is all that DM will sign for. We seem to have been waiting and waiting on the kirkby decision but its all going on so long that the situation is getting critical. I can't see any other more tangible explanation. The recent statements from the OS while welcome, smack of desparation.

Considering Moyes has come out in numerous occasions now and said he wants new players in before the start of season would account for it not being his fault. Kenwright has said nothing all summer.

If the funds were there, Everton would have bought by now. This is the Everton money men trying to get him on the cheap, as per usual. Sporting gave Everton a price of around £19m, so they bid just under £12m. If the funds were there, just pay the club what they want, he is a superb young International footballer who would walk into any team in the Premiership.

If money was there, why are we not bidding for the other players we desperately need ? It's all paper talk at the moment. The only confirmed bid i remember was for Aaron Ramsey.

Completely agree with all of your comments(y)

Whatever happens, I think Moyes would've jumped ship if he wasnt happy.

And besides, I stopped reading stuff on the Toffeeweb articles. They're worst than the Kipper for doom and gloom. If its not anti-kirkby, its anti-board or anti-players.
