Got to be Philip Nikodem Jagielka for me.

Puts a shift in every week, isn't scared to get hurt and tells other players what they should be doing as well.

Perfect leader for me. Well spoken off the field, too.

I'm not suggesting he should be captain now but I think if he makes Duffy makes the grade then I can imagine him making a decent captain in a few years.

Not enough out and out winners in our side I'm afraid to be captain,if we had a proper captain in our ranks we would never have lost the points against Fulham and Reading,all nice enough fella's and good pro's I'm sure,but just think of our 1985 side,Ratters was the Captain in name but it really could have been any one from about six of them,Oh how I long for us to sign a "nark" another Reidy if you like!!

Think this is a weakness in Moyes's philosophy when buying players. He seems to seek out mild mannered types, which I can understand because they won't upset the team spirit etc... think we could do with a few more players with a bit more aggression in them though.
