Im not reading all that you bad melt.

wonder who that was?

i agree lazy journalism, if you can even call it that though, sportingo is open so anyone can post right? it's probably some 35 year old [Poor language removed] up chelski fan at home pounding away at his keyboard in an effort to grab his 15 seconds of fame.

Well, we dont know about the Yaks commitment yet. He could very well be tempted to go play champions league football and leave us :(

I pray that doesnt happen, he is immensely good

middlesbrough, everton and chelsea?

what is wrong with this sequence?

a player cannot play for 3 clubs in the same season.

There is an exception to this rule: Unless the [Poor language removed] purchase him (see Macherano).

The fee is meant to be 16 million.

Would they expect a big four club to sell a player they had just signed on a five year contract, that was scoring for fun and propelling them up the table, to sell when another club comes in to make a poxy 5.5 million profit?

Would they f-u-c-k.

Sick of this media bias to the big four.

i read somewhere... and the first time i read something like it saying it might be a big five soon with everton. esp if we finish 3rd or 4th this year. that will be twice in the last 4 years.

the problem is money ofcourse. only the top 4 get the huge rewards. so a big five wont squeeze in to 4.

but this is where we have an edge. we don't rely on champs lge money so if we get some of it it will only make us stronger... but one of the big 4 with their foreign owners will feel the pinch if they are denied.

liverpool being allowed to enter in 2005 was a bollocks. if they had been denied that cash it would have squeezed us closer to them.

so even when another club has the nerve to qualify the 'big 4' still get their money.

we need to qualify this year and kick the red [Poor language removed] down to 6th. then lets see how hicks likes his new toy without the 20 million chmps lge sweetner.

To be honest I wouldn't be in shock if a 25m+ bid was launched for Yakubu by Real Madrid or Chelsea. How much did Barca spend on Henry again...

If that did happen I would be straight on the phone to my Boro mates just to ask their opinion mind:lol:

Sportingo has as much to do with journalism as members here do. It's a site which encourages football fans to publish their own articles in return for putting ads on them. (In other words, the old "user-generated-content" Web 2.0 wonder, where site owners get others to do the work.)

As far as Yakubu goes, I would think there would be more people sniffing around Faddy and AJ in January.
