him and moyes can't be that good mates what with lawrenson **** stiring about rvp requesting a transfer and being unsettled.

The number of ex-Liverpool payers employed by the media is way beyond a joke.
That said, I think Lawrenson is one of the better and fairer pundits. He is usually complimentary about Everton.
Lawrenson has however fallen for the belief that without Moyes Everton were doomed.
I think a lot of pundits are finding it hard to understand how Everton have progressed further under RM and not slipped down the table as was predicted.

Oh my.....

The first thought I had about this game is what sort of reception will Manchester United manager David Moyes get on his return to Goodison Park, where he was manager for 11 years?

Moyes is going back to Goodison Park for the first time since leaving to take charge of United last summer

Unfortunately, I think it will be mixed, partly because of how well Roberto Martinez is doing as Everton boss but also because football fans sometimes have short memories and won't remember that Moyes did an absolutely outstanding job for the Toffees.

Moyes should get a standing ovation, but he won't.

As far as the game goes, I'm going for a draw. Up until Wednesday's home defeat by Crystal Palace, Everton were on a great run and I don't think they will play that badly again.

Manchester United have not played since their Champions League tie against Bayern Munich on 9 April and they will be ready for this one.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

Doherty's prediction: 0-1
