That is a textbook Thatcher's child analysis of why we should sit tight and not push on. You say '£40M...no thanks, too much of a risk'. How much do you think this board are preparing to throw at the proposed stadium in Kirkby - an even bigger risk for the club's future? Do you support that but not investment in the team?

We had our best season in the Premiership points-wise...we finished 11 points off Liverpool in 4th. A street in football terms.

We need investment on the scale we have never seen before to progress. The board shirk their responsibility this summer at their own peril.

Not this again, is this all you go on abot!!

Your a one trick pony mate.

FFS change the record!!

You picking up on fragments in a post...why dont you give it a [Poor language removed] rest?

No mate....why dont you give it a fukkin rest?

Im sure every one wants it??

You come out with the same [Poor language removed] all the time.

We know what you think, now put it to bed for christ sake!!

Do I, or is it you just dont want an anti-stadium viewpoint.

I think I'll decline your advice if you dont mind...I've read your comments on other threads. You're a real sage. Released players? "Get [Poor language removed]' shut, they're not good enough". Great attitude there. But dont mind me, you crack on and cover yourself in more glory.

Anti-stadium, dont give a fukk. were ever the boys play i'll be their to watch. dont really care if it's kirkby or kirkdale. thing is i'd rather not go to kirkby. but i dont go on boreing every one all the time about it.

Released players..get fukkin shut. well lets not then, lets keep them all. put them in the first team an be [Poor language removed]. you must be more clever than that!! iv had mates fukked off from good clubs, it's how football works. if youe not good enough your out.

Please dont respond, as you cant help talking [Poor language removed].

Ni-night!!

And yet you don't address or respond to any of my points in my original post.

We need the investment. That much is true. But where you see the board "shirking responsiblity," I see them being responsible from a financial standpoint.

contraversial but i dont think moyes would know how to spend 40mil. hes not a manager who chases the big money target, he likes to spend the right amount of money on players he sees adding to the club. 40mil to the fat spaniard, the scottish drunk or mr toad is nothin, they'd blow that on one player so long as he had a big name. Moyes is more like arsene the child catcher. all his moves are calculated. i sometimes think chelsea, man u and the filth just move on players cause they dont want other teams to have them. hey, if the moneys there then why not.

Moyes is shrewd. i dont want him to change one bit. sure i'd love to sign david villa or A.N.Other superstar, but we dont have the money. Like some of you before me in this thread, i think that 20-25mil is the amount we will/should get to spend, but lets say for arguement we get 40, how many players will DM be obliged to buy wi that budget? i doubt big bill will say, yeah davey, blow it all on one player. no, he'll say, David, heres 40 mil, i expect 6 to 8 new faces. do the maths guys, this aint a lot per player if AJ costs 8mil. If he gets 25, maybe he'll only have to bring in 3 new faces. who knows?

What i do know is that moyes will have targets and im sure he knows what he is willing to spend on each of them. He wont spend more than he thinks they are worth so i hope he finds a few bargains like Arteta, Pienaar, Lescott, Cahill.

A new winger, rightback, centre mid(can you hear the drums fernando?) should be on his list imo

For what its worth
