Laurent Blanc's Comments

Laurent Blanc has recently admitted he loves 'popcorning' fans and seeing them go into 'meltdown' on 'interweb' forums and the like. The world cup winner and current French national team coach said:

'' Yeah, I spend a lot of time lurking on English footie forums such as 'Grand Old Team'. I really enjoy the 'popcorn' moments and got into it big time lid. And before I forget, Ye mar on toast.''

To be fair, we love bainesey, think he's ace etc....but man united fans don't think he's that good, and they are in the same league and country as us. We know he's great so with the united fans it's clearly a case of not having seen him play enough....why would the manager of France have a clue about him in that case!

I liked the bit when he played for Man U and they lost to teams who's initials spelt out "BLANC"

good days

I'm not jealous of the country, I enjoy going there as long as I am near a city, some older places are ace to like I suppose, such as Mount Saint Michel, St. Malo, and Orodur Sur Glane.

Anyway if we are going to discuss France, should it be done in the Ale house, this has gone horrendously off topic.

Oroudur-sur-Glane? It's fascinating but I wouldn't use the term "ace" in relation to a village obliterated off the map by the Nazis with over 600 villagers massacred.

Hahaha, I didn't mean in the terms of an ace place to take kids. Fascinating yes though. Surreal also. Mont Saint-Michel is also amazing, if you ever get the chance to go.
