Disagree new stadium is vital for growth makes us a more attractive options for sponsors and corporate hospitality might only be directly responsible for a growth of 20m per year but it opens up a lot of potential new revenue streams which we are sadly lacking
Totally agree with this, we also need a quality stadium to attract new players as well.

Goodison Park is a disgrace in terms of modern sporting viewing arenas. Yes, the atmosphere on a very rare occasion these days can be unrivalled but the days of restricted views, non-existent quality corporate boxes, poor catering, bars & toilet facilities are long gone ...

We must take our Blue blinkers off & look to the future. I'm a season ticket holder and it would be a shame to see the Old Lady go but I'm afraid that time has come.

If the new owners do leave us a legacy, I hope it is the building of a quality new 50,000 all seater, all singing all dancing stadium.

A new stadium was vital 15 years ago not as much now with all the tv money coming in we will probably make aboutan extra 2-3mil from a new stadium which these days will get u a sixteen yr old prospect.
Arsenal make nearly £4m a home game through , tickets , corporate hospitality etc. We don't even make £1m I believe . On league games alone they bring in well over £50m a season more than us through the gate .

A new stadium does matter . It matters a lot .

It is very difficult to set priorities for new owners without knowing the availability of capital after acquisition.

If they are just acquiring the majority holding I would imagine a new stadium or redevelopment of Goodison will be lower down on their list of immediate requirements. The focus will be much more likely to be on increasing sponsorship and commercial revenues away from Goodison.

If however there is a total takeover then assuming the capital is available a stadium solution becomes much more do-able and a higher priority.

Regardless of the nature of the takeover, in my opinion the first task is to prioritise on field matters, retaining the key young players and providing funding for the glaring weaknesses in our squad for this summer.

Leaving Goodison would cause an uproar and new owners know that. Plan for new stadium would no doubt be very exciting even to those who oppose the move atm. Both options are fine by me. I trust them who decide Goodisons fate to make the right decision and I'll back it fully.

When these new owners come infront of the cameras they know that first question will be about the stadium situation.
Cant wait to hear their answer.
