as for the rest, H&G apart each had good and bad points i suppose, different manager and spending policy then Villa could have been a success, Glaziers have certainly spent enough to have not been failing so bad on the pitch, FSG - major failing yet again is the way they buy players.

Overall the key thing IF your bought by Americans is getting the right person in their in charge of transfers - Woodward at united, the committee/Rodgers at the [Poor language removed], O'neils wasting of 200m at Villa are the major reasons for all those clubs problems rather than anything else.

IF they do take over that will be the acid test - do they leave it in Martinez hands - appoint some committee bs or appoint a director of football - and if so - one with a clue or some crony?
