The aim of some was terrible.I was in the Paddock and got hit on the head by a stray cushion.

I remember when they stopped them ,having a pang of regret at never having experienced the pleasure of hurling one at a poorly performing players bonce.
Especially as the bloke who sold them ( from a little door at the back of the St . End as I recall) was one of my dads mates, I might have touched for a free throw.

A memorable Goodison sight I still miss was that glorious rain of blue cushions.
