Yeah it’s not great tbh, it feels a bit lazy with a lot of horror tropes thrown about
Not really sure what I was expecting going into this. The first half wasn’t great, it got better in the second half and the ending was alright.
It’s definitely a 5-6/10 film

Oh I'm sorry.Speaking of masterpieces, this gem from 1992 is a delight.
And it's on UK terrestrial at 9pm tonight on 'Great! TV' (freeview 34)
Somehow the bbc has the rights to 'the good the bad and the ugly' which is on bbc2 at 10pm (was on the cowboy channels 2 weeks ago) die hard on E4 at 9pm, tombstone on film4 at 9pm,

The Life of Chuck - Netflix, but not one of theirs.
I was drawn to this because of the outstanding cast and knew nothing about it, other than it’s one of Stephen Kings.
It’s one of those films that starts off backwards and works it’s way to the beginning in three parts.
Starts off with the world seemingly ending, due to the eco system collapsing and follows various intertwined characters, as they try to come to terms that they’ll all soon be dead and the world will be gone.
However it then becomes much lighter as it moves backwards into acts two and three, with a real head bending and emotional ending.
I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would and parts of it where beautiful and really moving.
A great mixed cast of Brits and Americans.
I’d have happily gone to see it at the cinema and my only complaint, was that at just under two hours it was too short and deserved another thirty mins at least.

It`s very hard to explain without giving too much away, as the ending, is also intertwined with the beginning too - I know that doesn`t make sense, but you have to watch to understand it.
It`s nothing to do with time travel and everything to do with what happens when the brain starts to die.
It was a very good film and surprisingly moving, but a bit of a head bender too - nothing like Memento, but once you got what was going on, it all made sense.
reminds me of 'Point blank' with Lee Marvin. And now I've thought for more than a minute, 'the swimmer' with Burt Lancaster.
