Last Film You Watched

Are you aware that is the story from the comic though yeah?
I've not read the guardian's comics, I am aware of the concept, and it was nice to have a human actor for the villain for the large part, but if your writing a story, you can't have 12 separate redemption tales, as the purpose loses it's intended impact and becomes mundane, the comic writing didn't hit home for me like the first one either, a much weaker effort all round. Though the second film can often be that way, using it as a vehicle to move everything to the intended storyline

Saw Everly on Film4 starring Salma Hayek or rather Salma's Hayek's cleavage. She looked mighty fine for a 48 year old but I am somewhat surprised that she was so willing to be exploited in such a gratuitous manner.

Paddington 2 with my daughter

9/10 - charming!

Saw this a few weeks ago with my gf. Loved it. Funny, sad, moving, great performances all round :)

The departed . 2nd time I’ve watched it but thought it was crap 1st time I seen it . Though today I realised its quality . 8/10 it would be higher but Matt Damon’s square head offends me .

Seen the original? I didn't like this much either when I first saw it, mainly 'cos I couldn't stop laughing at Nicholson's ott histronics. Nic Cage would have been proud of that mega-acting...
