Last Film You Watched

I watched "The good neighbor" last night. Was a bit worried at first as it had the documentary/home movie style, but that's only in parts. Very very clever story and plot and James Caan is simply brilliant in it. Well worth a watch.

Just back from the pictures where I saw The Infiltrator. Brilliant, simply brilliant.

Cranston plays a blinder, but others also carry their roles off very well indeed. Gripping once it really gets going.

Easily the best film I've seen since Spotlight, and possibly trumps that. I'm bordering on giving it 10/10.

Go and watch it.

Rob Zombies new film 31,pretty much follows the same style as his previous films, fine if your a fan otherwise dont bother

'House of 1000 corpses' was quite good, better than the sequel 'The Devil's Rejects'. His films tend to be 'horror with a nasty streak'.
Want to see it but, haven't seen 'The Lords Of Salem' yet so, it's on the list.

I have seen all of his films,it follows his usual way of making them, slightly strange,a little bit nasty,as I said if your a fan its worth a viewing, though nothing new

Is he trying to do too much?
I said 'House of 1000 corpses' was quite good but, it was actually really good!
The sequel didn't match it but was ok, then came remakes Halloween etc, plus his music, comics, directing?

I think with the films hes sticking to the tried and trusted,he has his following and tends not to stray to far from the path,as I said Im a fan so enjoyed it but its nothing spectacular

Agree with this, actually. Mentioned it a few pages back. The more I think about the film the more I realise how much I enjoyed it. Was also surprised to see Benjamin Bratt in a supporting role, doing a really good job, as well as a comeback of sorts for John Leguizamo.

Feel like this is the kind of film that will fly under many folks' radar.

Next up I want to see the other Cranston film that @The Cowboy recommended: Trumbo.
