Last Film You Watched

Burnt - bad boy chef attempting to make good'ish.
Bit parts for -
Uma Thurman - playing a toff reporter?
Emma Thompson - a shrink with nanny McPhee glasses (although nanny mc didn't wear any so don't know why I assumed she did)!?
Main roles were -
Bradley Cooper - always seems arrogant and his roles seem to reflect this but, a good actor
Sienna Miller - Good actor
Daniel Bruhl - born in Barcelona, German, multi-lingual (played Niki Lauda in Rush, amongst other films) and basically a top actor.

I'm not one for fancy dishes/flavours but, I love the way chefs can make a plate of food look aesthetically pleasing, like a work of art.
Decent film, 7/10 for the art of the dishes.

Watched sausage party last night.

.....it works. Not big on the humour of it BUT from what they imagined they set out to make, it works really well. Basically a kids film on the surface and an adult film underneath. Lists of swearing, clever little running jokes like te Jewish bagel and the Arab flatbread.

So yeah, I think the hype for It was justified, good film overall.

7/10

Sometimes films like that really work - the brilliant Kick Ass for instance.

Yeah, the film they wanted to make is actually what they have released. True to references and yeah, obviously a very adult film but wouod shock a lot of people expecting a movie about talking sausages ala a pixar one!

My only gripe is that I'm not big on seth rowan humour. Only really like him as a side character, and only really bad neighbors I found funny as him as the lead. But I'm knocking it for that, was a good movie either way.
