Watched a couple of older ones over the weekend. Big Lebowski and Reservoir Dogs, been a long time since I had watched either but both are still excellent.

The new Dads Army movie more like a carry on movie at times nice to see two original actors reappear average to poor at best!

I absolutely hated that film, it was so far removed from what the original series was like. I just couldn't understand why they even used the Dad's Army name at all. Think your right it definitely felt more like a carry on film and it probably would of worked a lot better of they had done that instead.

Alan Rickman's last film, and rather good it is, too. About a drone strike, and the moral/legal/political dilemmas that go with it.
Noticed a few bloopers though.

There's not much action because it's more of a drama than owt else. Unrealistic, maybe. 'Incredibly unrealistic' is a bit OTT - it's gotta appeal to a broader audience, in the same way that soap operas do.
I mean, it's not bond, is it? Nor does it try to be.
I thought it was decent, meself.
