Last Film You Watched

Watched a few films that I missed at the cinema and now understand why I missed them.

Unfinished Business: such a bad film that I decided to cut my toenails and clean my ears out whilst it was on (1 out of 10)

Exodus: Gods & Kings: was OK but never felt the tension between the two main characters, although the special effects were good (4 out of 10)

Kinsman: Simply hated Samuel L Jackson's character and the way he spoke. The woman with the blades on her feet was fantastic though (5 out of 10)

On a positive note just seen that sky has added "the hurricane" and that is a really good film so will look to get that watched again soon.

Creed (2015/2016)

Well. I have to say....

IT WAS BLOODY BLOODY GOOD!!

So happy it was too! Everton AOTS too.
Really enjoyed it. Yes it's all very the same. But it's a Rocky film in everything but name.

The lad who played Adonis was great. Stallone was great. Tony Bellew was really great. Adonis' mrs...bit annoying!

I wanted more Everton in it, like Bellew coming out to z-cars for example, but I guess the film wasn't about is really. Buffet saying 'Goodison Park' was boss though!

Solid 4 Championship Belts out of 5

Evening ijjy ,

Also watched The Martian.

Really good. Interesting and entertaining. The cinematography is outstanding. Not the biggest Matt Damon fan, but he does a good job.

And it's hilarious they decided that Waterloo would be a suitable song.

9/10

St. Vincent

Hate seeing Bill Murray looking so old.....but enjoyed it....little bit like Gran Torino....really good cast, moves slowly at times but there's enough to keep your interest...7/10

Yeah, that doesn't bother me tbh as long as the cinematography is as expected.

Some lovely shots...but not sure why anyone would make a movie where nothing happens.

saw a viking movie with the bad guy in casino royale...nothing happened in that either.

i just dont get it.

A well made, brilliantly acted British film about a couple's relationship when a husband receives a letter. Recommended.

Finally got round to seeing Legend (2015), finished just a moment ago.

Funny little film I thought. Obviously not in the 'haha' way!

Tom Hardy is fantastic for a start. Like off the chart good. But it's just not quite enough. There's bits missing from the Kray's lives that were key and not included in this movie, and i felt too much was concentrated on Reggie's Mrs, Francis.

Its worth seeing though, just for how good Hardy is.

Hmmm...

3 Championship Belts out of 5. Possibly 3.5. Not sure.
