Last Film You Watched

black mass. Johnny depp was good but the film started ok but was really disappointed in the end. THe guy who plays John Connolly was really bad at being a policeman and pretending he wasn't working with the criminals. Some of the scenes in the police station when he was being questioned were laughable. Like when a small child lies to their mum 5/10

It was one of those films that seemed to have all the right ingredients but just didn't seem to match up to expectation, it wasn't a bad film it just wasn't a good one

Hateful Eight , Fell asleep after about an hour. Not for me too arti farti.

I enjoyed it nev not a big western fan but thought it was a good watch

Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. Disappointing.

Every now and then an decent low budget pops up on the Horror Channel. This is one of them.

Set in rural Ireland, a young couples car gets stuck on a rural road and they go in search of a farm to get help. Only to encounter a farmer who has been turned into a vampire after unearthing something nasty whilst digging peat.

The unknown lead in it - Niamh Algar is brilliant and although it's obvioulsy been made on a shoestring its very atmospheric and spooky as hell. Worth a watch .

Also there's another low budget horror on tonight which is quite similar on Film 4 - In Fear.

Again set in rural Ireland, a young couple end up trapped on a labyrinth of country roads at night and bad things start to happen . Deffo worth a watch .

Book of Eli could've been a very good film, but wastes him with a naff script . Make your own mind up. Each to their own mate . He's a great actor and I like the fact that he isn't trying to hide his age with plastic surgery etc and taking on more age appropriate rolls .
