The first few series I only found 'decent' really, and I think the fourth season has allowed me to finally put my finger on why. I never really connected with Don until now, but given all that's now happened he seems so much more human and relatable. Now he's great, and I find myself doing strange things like shouting 'get in there Don' occasionally.

Certainly not a show you'd love after 2 eps but it sure does creep up on you.

American Sniper was considerably less ace, but still good - 7.2/10

Had a ropey VHS many years ago. Just watched the new Arrow Films blu ray transfer. Outstanding. If you like Michael Mann and haven't seen this, see it. If you liked Heat, see it. If you liked Drive, see it. If you like 80s films see it. If you like James Caan see it. If you like Tangerine Dream, see it... **** it, just watch it, it's a forgotten classic.
