Too heavy for me - The fact that Stepen Spielberg withdrew on this Film made me wonder a bit it is watchable - not in the same class as enemy at the gates movie imo!

Reading the reviews on here only, should I be putting 'Birdman' in a similar bracket to 'Fargo'?

Definitely not, I know the coens films can be a bit hit and miss imo, but birdman is just weird to a point were I didn't no what the point of it was

He wasn't a particularly nice guy all told. But to make the movie more movie like it's probably a better story to beleive the nice bits!

I watched about 20 mins of it last night and binned it off,can't see me ever giving it another go wtf???

That doesn't surprise me. I was getting edgy at that point, too. Some people will love it, others will hate it.

It was better than watching the West Brom match, though.

Really enjoyed this one as well. Interesting decision to film in black and white but I think it added a certain depth. Excellent performance from the lead actor. Made me want to move back to Germany

Can't remember the last film I unexpectedly enjoyed a film so much. Was very Frances Ha/Woody Allen
