Anniversary- just dropped on Netflix.

From what I’ve read, the makers where that worried about the reaction from Trump, that it was only released in certain venues in the States.

A respected Professor of politics ( Diane Laine ) and her successful restauranteur husband ( Kyle Chander ) live a happy and privileged liberal life with their family.

This all changes when their son brings home his girlfriend, the author of a right wing book that advocates a one political party country - The Change.

As the ideas in the book gain traction, America dissolves into a fascist state and tears the family and America to pieces.

The first 30 mins are extremely slow, but as the country unravels, it becomes a terrifying and prophetic version of what America could become in the not so near future.

The critics reviews have been luke warm, ignore them it’s a very good, but terrifying film.

"Cold storage" proper B movie fare,it's a decent fun film, parasitic fungus from a space mission takes over any creature it comes onto contact with, two main characters interact very well and the humour is decent worth a watch if you just want to sit and chill
