Sinners. I had high hopes for it. All over the place though. Part musical, part horror, part BLM social commentary, 100% garbage.

Went to watch that on New Year’s Eve, I knew it was a broad comedy going in to it, so I wasn’t surprised. There were a few laughs, but it’s really not worth it, the funny bits are all in the trailer. It seems like another attempt to bring back Carry On films.
Given that it cost $12m to make and has only made $2.6m at the box office, I don’t think we will see a sequel anytime soon

It's trying SO hard to be cool but it is all over the place and ultimately pack full of utter BS to fill up a story about Ping Pong in the 1950s.
Timmy Shamalangadingdong is such a try hard and steps over everyone's scenes because he is desperate for a Oscar it's cringe.
Uncut Jewels and Good Times are the same premises of fast paced scam movies done well, this is rinse and repeat from the same director without his brother and IT SHOWS.

Nuremberg is an outstanding production and yes, Crowe’s portrayal of Herman Goering is exceptional.
The political parallels to sections of modern day life both here in the UK and Trump’s version of the US are staggering and the formation of the trial protocols made me wonder quite how long it might take to get the likes of Putin, Trump, Netanyahu into a courtroom to answer for their crimes against humanity.
When you can get your hands on the wealth of a nation and take it to saudi arabia like amin did, you can live out your days in luxury completely care free from so called justice. Regardless of the genocide you have prosecuted and the hundreds of thousands (and more) in shallow graves at your command. They say history is written by the winners, well, those that pilfer enough to survive appear to get their turn in the appendix.

The original version was over three hours long, some of the deleted stuff is on You Tube such as the pizza delivery kid not getting a tip which explains why later on he steals from their wallets and John Candy needing to fart which makes Steve Martin get out of bed angry while in the final version it’s John Candy clearing his sinuses that makes him get up .
I read a book about the director John Hughes and in the three hour uncut version, they reckon people would have sympathised more with Steve Martin’s character because Candys character Del was so annoying!
