Pacific Rim was a chumpathon from start to finish. I can't handle Idris Elba as anyone else other than Stringer Bell and that overracting scientist guy needed to dial it down by at least ten.

Can't say I noticed the acting what with all the colossal ninja robots and mutant dinosaurs.

I feel so betrayed, I also thought I saw some decent reviews of it in this thread, I could however have just imaged all of this.

Draft day. Kevin Costner film about the American Football draft day. Kinda like transfer deadline day. I like sports films and found it quite entertaining, despite knowing or caring little for the sport itself. 6.5/10

City of Men, sequel to City of God. Not as good as the first one and the big twist was slightly obvious. Still a great film IMO.

I did not enjoy Godzilla at all.

Ages to see any form of monster. Then loads of action in the dark where it's really hard to tell what's going in. Maybe it looked better in the cinema.

Best bits were planes falling from the sky after an EMP. That looked cool.

But the ending where they cheer the big guy off was the final straw.
