Last Film You Watched

Watched a few films this week as i've been working from home:

The Expendables 3 (2014)

Now then. Believe it or not, I wasn't such a big fan of the first two. Seems crazy as movies with all the action stars, all the explosions and that would surely be right up my street. Nope, just found them both a bit much.

This one however, yes please. Decent. Really enjoyed it and would definitely watch again.

Spaceballs (1987)

Hadn't seen this in many many years.

For those who don't know, it's a Star Wars spoof movie starring Rick Moranis (Dark Helmet!! Hahaha!), Bill Pullman and John Candy amongst others.

Happy to say it still stands up. With amazing one liners. 'Comb the area' - cut to minnions with a massive comb in a dessert - YES PLEASE

Need for Speed (2014)

I do like a good car chase movie. From the days of Smokey and the Bandit and Cannonball Run right through to Gone in 60 Seconds and the earlier Fast and Furious', I just enjoy them despite the stigma that they get associated with.

This one is alright. No more than that though. If I had the choice of this or a Burt Reynolds classic, then Need for Speed wouldn't get a look in.

Good action bits, quite fancied the English bird in it, but it's pretty weak everywhere else. Get an extra mark for the Koninseg (sp!!!!) crash which was pretty awesome.

How was Batista in it?

He was always notoriously rubbish at talking when in wrestling.

He was alright actually, he played someone that was a bit simple so when he delivered his lines they were meant to sound a bit terrible I think, he's quite a big [Poor language removed] isn't he?

Oh and Zoe Saldana in tight trousers, YES!
