In a couple of parts, the pencil aint an easy watch for explaining purposes, but it aint graphic, it does lean towards the comic side of things.
5action in a matter of a few minutes. (freeview channel 33) It's absolutely nuts, and Miles Bennet Dyson ends up incapacitated again, Russell is a cameo, or is it knob head seagal? anyway, there's bugger all else on.
Well I've got 2001/2010 and Silent Running in my head to recommend but no way they'd enjoy them young. Maybe 15ish?

I watched the recent Amy Winehouse biopic on Amazon. Told us even less than we knew. I am not a great fan of her music but she was interesting. The film was not.
Try the first one they made, it's very sad how a talent like hers could be so corrupted. The pain behind the voice often is spurred by pain in their lives.
And I've no idea whatsoever why you've quoted a Batman thing to talk about Winehouse. But it's all good.
They've seen them and even the Flash movie as it was decent when Batman was in it. They liked all 3
Venom is pretty soft, Labyrinth is a belter for that age where they can follow and sing along, have you done em in for bad behaviour by showing em 'Bambi' yet?

Maybe one where the mum dies would make a nice change. Lion King and 8-bit Christmas were watched a little too close together for my liking. 8-bit xmas being especially traumatizing for me as they spent the first part of the film comparing me to the dad.
