Last Film You Watched

Been treated to the cinema this evening to see Oppenheimer. Very much enjoyed it. Lot being made about the 3 hour length but knowing that I settled in for the long haul. Not once was I looking at my watch to see how long was left. Thought provoking.

Hayley Atwell looked very attractive as well.

Yeah, see Casablanca is another one I always get completely swept up in. Its purely a personal thing but Kane has just never really clicked with me, even though its objectively a brilliant flick.

I'm the same, can appreciate Kane is brilliant, but will I be re-watching it out of joy? Probably not.

It's alright, had a feel of 'the raid' (2011) to me, Dredd is an unexplored character in film, considering how much there is to mine.

It's not a channel mate it's just the BBC iPlayer equivalent for the Channel 4 stuff. Accessible via any smart TV etc.

It's alright, had a feel of 'the raid' (2011) to me, Dredd is an unexplored character in film, considering how much there is to mine.

Thought Dredd was magnificent.

Karl Urban brought to life the 2000AD comic character, of Dredd to life perfectly.

Olive Thirlby came a close second as Anderson.

Brilliant soundtrack and cinematography too.

Started watching Dune (latest one) on Amazon Prime with the Mrs in the hope she would share my enthusiasm for it and be equally excited for the sequel / part 2.
She went to bed after 30mins with assurances that she did really want to watch it

'Event Horizon' is on Film4 at 10:55pm tonight. Sat'dee night tv is awash with dirge but I know there's some that hold a candle for EH so fill your Sam Neill hamming it up boots.
