I didn’t read any reviews of this before I watched it and I’m glad I didn’t, as it has mixed reviews and I really enjoyed it.

A military lawyer, is tasked with investigating why a US Air Force paramedic, didn’t receive a posthumous Medal of Honour in Vietnam, many years after his death and the end of the war.

Based on a true story, with an incredible cast. It’s really well put together and incredibly moving in parts.

A proper film.

Netflix.
May give that a look see later.

Vertigo
Really enjoyed the first half, thought the second half dragged a bit. Hitchcock obviously also had a really good eye for how to frame a show, because the movie is beautiful to look at. Not quite as good as The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires, though. 7/10
I love 'Notorious', and highly evocative for it's time. ('that' train shot)

When I wrote 'frame a show', my intended meaning was 'frame a shot' if anyone was confused lol

65 came out today. Might catch it tomorrow, looks interesting.

Can’t say I ever pay attention to film critics myself mate lol but it has dinosaurs in so I can’t not watch.

Forrest Gump. I got it in a charity shop. I'd never seen it.
Very funny little quirky bits. The table tennis action is excellent!
Obviously, it's very schmaltzy but Hanks is so likeable with his strange accent and the support is first rate. His girlfriend is a pain but I remember those hippy types tended to be!
