Watched Banshees of Innerthingy.

Bit too arty for me.

Great acting from the boys Gleeson and Farrell, but not enough sex and violence for my taste.

Had never seen Idiocracy, so I watched it and it was funnier than expected. Obviously crass and stupid, but funny for that genre. I didn't realize it was a Mike Judge film.

Started "You won't be alone" late last night and got about 1/2 way through. What I saw was quite excellent--a haunting slow-burn type of film similar to VVitch. I didn't finish it because I was too tired, but I will soon. Hope the second half is as good as the first.

I thought this was quite good - very atmospheric, and well written.

Watched Christmas Evil last night, despite needing to go to bed before I'd even started watching it. It's not your typical Christmas slasher, but is quite a low-key affair for the most part. Still, it's very watchable, and the final scene/shot is just superb.

Your mistake! Should of watched the 18+ version instead. The banshees and that donkey, dirty feckers.

Watched Eden Lake last night, first time I seen it for a few years, still as gruesome, Jack O'Connell was terrifying as the leader of the gang of kids.

It’s the going thing for Disney now, anything 20th Century, MCU, Pixar etc is a 40-45 day window in cinemas before it hits D+, their latest animated film Strange World goes on the service next Friday having only come out last month

Watched a great film called Charley Varrick, early 70s, Don Siegal, quite a few faces from Dirty Harry in it.
About a bank robbery and the chase afterwards for the robbers and money, was great!
Walter Matthau played the lead.

One of my all-time favourite films. The pay-off at the end is ace (i mentioned it in the 'favourite film deaths' thread (or whatever it was called) a month or so ago.
