Hills have eyes is a great film, when I seen it back in mid 2000s I wasn't aware it was a reboot.
Seeing the original was from the 70s I never bothered watching it.

The original, is exactly how you`d expect a film made in the late 70`s to be lol
I think it was a matter of suspending all critical thinking.
It was a bit of a nostalgia trip and for a lot (me included) it was the first time back in a cinema post covid.
For what it was, I thought it was great, ridiculous, but great.

Yeah I enjoyed the nostalgic aspect TBF
I also had to laugh at the blatant Star Wars trench run ripoff.
I wouldn't bother with 'Mortal Engines' then...

Still tho, the 11 year old in me couldn't help but smile at them stealing an F14 from the 'unnamed enemy' hanger!

Original Terminator rewatch on Halloween. Still holds up as a top-shelf horror film. The dialogue is straight fire, for the most part.
