Watched Young and Innocent last night, pre WW2 black and white Hitchcock. Its a good early one, 39 steps is still my favourite of his early work but this had some good moments and a few silly comedy bits.
It's also worth seeing for one aerial shot, camera moving in the air to cross a busy room to zoom in on one face, it's a brilliant shot, possibly nothing outstanding today but for the 30s way ahead of its time.
I got it on bluray as the film is now public domain so.loads of rubbish versions exist on DVD

American Psycho - finally got round to watching it. Bale is brilliant and couldn’t help laughing at the axe scene when he starts dancing before the kill.

I watched it for the first time a few weeks agao and loved it.
The ending did confuse me though. Had to Google it to
fully understand it! A very good watch though I agree.
Very 1980's!

Brando is magnetic, but otherwise i found the film quite dull. part II is much more interesting. i avoided part III as i keep hearing its utter pants.
