About a guy who tries to get his challenged brother out of jail after a bank robbery gone wrong. Not a whole lot of explaining for their actions other than the guy's just a scumbag. Kinda good but also quite nonsensical in places. Robert Pattinson is good in it though.

Watched the Voices with Ryan Reynolds the other night. A black comedy about a nice guy who has serious mental health problems that lead him astray. Got a few twisted laughs out of me, Reynolds is a master at making something really 'effed up seem funny.

Loved it, a great Taiwanese coming of age drama. Further confirmation that Mubi is the best film subscription service going as no way would I have ever heard of this without it.

I was shocked, I knew it happened, didn't realise people were there 14 bloody years in a state of semi permanent torture.

Coming of age film considered a classic. Good soundtrack but largely uninteresting story.
Starred Richard Dreyfus who played a teenager. This was only 2 years before he appeared in Jaws. Significant contrast in his looks and manner between the two films
